Bucolic Beauty: Woolsthrope Manor

Woolsthorpe Manor is the birthplace and home of Sir Isaac Newton in Lincolnshire, England. It may appear to be an ordinary-looking home, but it has an extraordinary history.

In 1665, when the plague struck, Sir Newton returned to Woolsthrope from university, where he spent 18 months working in solitude, conducting experiments that laid the foundation for modern science. The home is simple, yet it exudes elegance. Some may even describe it as having a true Wabi Sabi style - a little wonky here and there, but it just feels right. It seems ready to be lived in! We hope you enjoy this sneak peek into this remarkable property.
