La Isla Bonita: A house in Toboga, Panama.

Interior designer Diane Burn has crafted a serene villa nestled on the picturesque island of Taboga. Transforming her hillside property in Panama, she artfully combines various periods and cultures, resulting in an eclectic and harmonious blend.

The paintings adorning the space were acquired from a cooperative in Guatemala. Right: A courtyard.

Right: In the kitchen/dining area, a substantial window, crowned by a late-19th-century transom discovered in Panama City, stands as a focal point. Burn elevated the ceiling by four feet and adorned the surfaces with a rustic cement finish.
